Transfer situation
At the moment there are not very many transfers available. However if you have finished working at your current farm and would like another job please ask your employer to contact HOPS for up to date information on the transfer situation.
Weather It's finally stopped raining! So even though it's starting to get a bit cooler make the most of the bright Autumnal days.
Returnees for 2009 Have you had a great time working in the UK through HOPS? If so you may want to consider returning next year, maybe bringing some friends and family with you too! if you have worked well this year then your employer should have spoken to you about returning to work for them in 2009 by now. HOPS have received a lot of returnee requests from employers already and application forms are being sent out to returnees on the 21st November to the In-country representatives. If you are planning to return in 2009 and your 2008 employer has requested for you to return to them please contact your In-country representative at the end of November for your application form. Your application form must be completed and returned to the HOPS office by the 19th December 2008 to be guaranteed your place in 2009. Feedback HOPS are always interested to hear about the experiences of workers on farms. If you would like to let HOPS know about your time working in the UK and how satisfied or dissatisfied you were with the experience please complete the attached questionnaire. Until our website updates are completed you will have to print out the questionnaire and post it to the HOPS office, or alternatively you can scan it once you have completed it and email it to hopsgb@nfyfc.org.uk
