About HOPS Labour Solutions Ltd
HOPS Labour Solutions Limited is principally a United Kingdom Borders Agency (UKBA) (The Home Office) appointed Operator of the Seasonal Agricultural Workers Scheme. In addition to the SAWS, HOPS also administers its own Seasonal Workers Programme (SWP).
HOPS Labour Solutions Limited in wholly owed by the National Federation of Young Farmers Clubs. The NFYFC is a rural youth organisation with some 20 000+ members.
HOPS is a GLA (Gangmaster Licensing Authority) licensed business.
HOPS supplies workers to the following sectors:-
- Soft fruit production
- Top fruit production
- Vegetable production
- Potatoes (usually grading)
- Tomatoes (glasshouse production)
- Cucumber (glasshouse production)
- Bedding plant production
- Hardy Nursery Stock production
- Salad crops – both protected cropping and field grown
- Bulb production (for example daffodil lifting, grading, packing for sale)
- Flower production
Warning
Please be aware there are people / companies in Bulgaria and Romania acting as HOPS Representatives who are NOT Representatives.
- Only BULMIT (SSFAW) in Svishtov and BULIBC (IBC Exchanges) in Sofia, Varna & Blagoevgrad are official Representatives for Bulgaria. Please ask to see identification when you meet any person claiming to be a Representative of HOPS.
- ROMBAR (Alex Barbarcaru) in Bucharest is the only official Representative in Romania. Please ask to see identification if you are concerned.
- DO NOT APPLY OR GIVE MONEY TO ANYBODY WHO IS NOT LISTED ON THE HOPS WEBSITE. HOPS REPRESENTATIVES DO NOT USE “SUB AGENTS” FOR RECRUITMENT. ALL MONEY PAID TO HOPS REPRESENTATIVES IS PAID DIRECTLY INTO BANK ACCOUNTS AND NOT IN CASH.
